Pow

pow is snow! urban dictionary says. Its the best type of snow. Also batman says “pow”.

Gnar

per wiktionary: (slang) snow, especially that which is ridden in extreme skiing or snowboarding.

The urban dictionary defines gnar gnar as:
The deepest of the deep. The driest of the dry. The powest of the pow pow. It’s the powda baby!

Hmmm, but I think the difference is that gnar is snow or something that is really gnarly or steep or awesome snow, where as pow is just powder snow. For example, the bunnitard grandfathers trail green run might have pow, but since it aint steep and completely boring its not gnar.

beware of the Utah gnar pow

On a side note wikitionary mentioned gnar has a plural: gnars. Wrong! But I like that.
GNARS. I rode so many gnars my bum is broke.

Please comment and voke if I am redonk or not.
